At 40, Chef Dawn Knowlton made a life-changing career move. She left a career in the financial industry to pursue a lifelong wish to become a chef!
Encouraged by her friends and family, she enrolled at El Centro College, where she acquired classical cooking techniques. Those techniques, along with experience gained through her work in the financial industry, culminated into opening her own business in 2010, Pressed for Thyme Personal Chef Service. This allowed her to extend her love for creating delicious family dining experiences to others.
