About Chef Dawn

At 40, Chef Dawn Knowlton made a life-changing career move. She left a career in the financial industry to pursue a lifelong wish to become a chef!

Encouraged by her friends and family, she enrolled at El Centro College, where she acquired classical cooking techniques. Those techniques, along with experience gained through her work in the financial industry, culminated into opening her own business in 2010, Pressed for Thyme Personal Chef Service. This allowed her to extend her love for creating delicious family dining experiences to others.

Every week Chef Dawn will update the menu and deliver it straight to your inbox. Menus will be designed to appeal to a variety of tastes and will feature different proteins (beef, poultry, pork, seafood), each paired with complimentary side dishes.

In addition to the entrees, you can choose Add-Ons or Grab & Go Snack Boxes. Add-Ons are a great way to round out your meal with the addition of a vegetable or for those with a larger appetite, make your meal more filling. Grab & Go Snack Boxes are perfect for a quick and easy snack or healthy lunch.
